December 31, 20XX, Somewhere over the Pacific Ocean
“This is Armada 3, Heading into sector 886, to investigate radio disturbance.”
“We got you Armada. Keep us updated.”
“I’m picking something up. It looks like a massive black triangle. It’s on the surface, heading west at about, i’d say ten or eleven knots. No obvious markings to denote it’s origin. It’s- Oh God! *SSKREEN* I’m hit, I’m hit! I’m-”
“Armada? Armada 3 do you copy? Armada 3, respond! Armada 2 do you have a visual on Armada 3?”
“Negative, Fortress. I’ve lost all contact with Armada 3. He’s only about five klicks north of my position, shou-”
“Go check up on him. Be careful, there’s something out there that-”
“Incoming missiles! I’ve got three missiles coming in off of-”
“Armada 2? Armada 2!” Ellen Minamino tore her headset off and ran down the hallway towards the Pacific Communications and Surveillance Center’s main database routing room. “Get me the Director of Defense! We’re under attack!”

“It’s been two months. Two months since they showed up, and we’ve already ceded almost half of the planet to them! Just last week we lost the little foothold we had left in the east mediterranean! Is the East Union defensive line ready to hold them off? We’ve poured a lot of money into this plan, and if it fails, I don’t know how we’ll win this war.”
Just then, the door to the conference room flew open. “Sir! The messages have been sent. We’re awaiting the replies now!”
“Very good. The time has come. We won’t lose to The End.

Several weeks ago, each PC received a letter. It reads the following:
“Dear Sir or Madam. The world is in dire straits. And you can help save it. We know what you are, and we know that every bit of extra help matters. If you are interested in saving the world, be sure to visit the International Operations Center for The Earth’s Defense, in London. We’ll be waiting.”
They are now arriving at the location described in their letter, full of questions and wonder. And determination.

Yuki Hotaru was walking to her kitchen to get a snack, when she saw a letter in front of the door. Hotaru looked at who it was for. Immediately, she picked up her phone.
"Satomi! Satomi! SATOMI!!!!!!!!!!" Hotaru cried.
"Uh... Hotaru?" Satomi replied.
"Someone knows!!" The letter was addressed to Precure Rainbow.
A hour later, the whole of the team were in Hotaru's room, trying to figure out what to do..
"I think we should go. The world needs us." Manami broke the silence. If someone needs us, we should help, is what she was thinking. Hotaru did not agree.
"Don't you think it's suspicious? They knew were I live! They've been watching us! It could be a trap!" Satomi sighed.
"I still think we should go. I mean, we're Precure! We should take a chance! Except... it says it's in London." Everyone sweat dropped, except from Chou, who was on her phone.
"Really?! Arigatou!" Chou turned off her phone. " Guess what?! Akio-san says he can fly us to London! For free! and today!"
"Then, it's decided! We're going!" Hotaru ran outside, followed by Satomi, Manami, and Chou. Dreami, and Snowi sat there, waving good bye. There time with no girly rules was about to begin!
OOC- I hope this is good enough! Yeah, hat's the last you'll see of Snowi and Dreami. They'll just be partying at home.

The International Operations Center for The Earth’s Defense stood, tall and intimidating, before Precure Rainbow. Guards were posted here and there, every door watched. It certainly held the air of a military facility. At the main door, a guard stopped them.
"I'm afraid this building is not open to civilians. Identify yourselves, please."

Hotaru got out her transformation device and the letter.
"I'm Yuki Hotaru, A.K.A Cure Ray, the leader of Precure Rainbow. This is my team, Ayaka Satomi, A.K.A Cure Harmony, Yumiko Manami, A.K.A Cure Luna, and Hana Chou, A.K.A Cure Fluff!" The other three girls took out their transformation devices. Hopefully this would be enough proof.

"Ah, I see. The director said that people may be showing up..." He opened the door into the Building. "You'll find The Director's office on the third floor. She used to be up with the other bigwigs up on the thirty first, but she insisted she be moved down here. Something about not liking the altitude. Don't wander, and if you get lost, ask someone for directions. That letter will only get you so far."

Hotaru started to go to the director.
"Arigatou," Satomi smiled, then went after Hotaru. Mnami went to, while Chou had turned into Pretti, and was sitting on Satomi's shoulder. As they wondered around a bit (Hotaru kind of forgot that they shouldn't wander XD, they arrived at the third floor. They stood in front of the Director's office. Hotaru knocked, and walked in, smiling. Satomi started to get the impression that Hotaru thought this was a joke.

"Ah, hello there. Please, do come in. It's so nice to see all of you here. At the director's desk sat a short, ginger girl, with a big smile plastered across her face. "It's nice to see all of you here. I am the director of the Company of Ultimate Resistance for the Earth, better known as "CURE" You will refer to me as Director Shirabe." She stood, and indicated to some seats along one wall of her office. "You may have heard of my mother, Ako."

As the three girls sat down, with Pretti on Satomi's knee, they tilted their heads in confusion. Ako? Who was she? None of them knew. Pretti looked up.
"Ako... I do believe I've heard that name somewhere. But where?" Pretti said quietly.
OOC- My characters think they're the only cures, apart from Pretti who heard stories about them back in Lumiere Kingdom. But she thought they were pretend

After saying good bye to Kasumi, Umi, Sayomi, and Kaze; Akiko, Chisame, Nari, Amaya, and Arina hugged their friends.
"You three be careful," Akiko said with a smile as she hugged her friends, "we leave Aurakako in you capable hands."
"See you when we get back," Chisame said as she hugged the other three, "we will try to write you if we can."
Nari didn't say anything because she was too busy crying, she just hugged her three friends tight and stood over by Akiko.
Arina and Amaya smiled, waved good bye to their friends, and hugged them as well. Once all that was done, the five Zodiac Cures that said they would go activated their portals with their transformation devices and focused on the location that the note said. Soon enough, they found themselves where they were supposed to be and went up to the guard.

"So, I'm sure all of you are itching to know what's going on here. I'm sure you've all heard the news, and are aware of the war that the Earth is waging right now. You, as well as many others, were sent for, as Precure, to help defend the world. How does that sound?" The Director returned to her desk, and started rummaging around, looking for something. "If you agree to join us in the fight, your lives will change. But, it's up to you if you want to join us or not."
The guard eyed up the Quintet, and gave them the same gruff greeting he had given Precure Rainbow before them.

The four werent sure how to respond. It was going to be a hard decision. If they helped,they might never see Snowi or Dreami again. Yet, if they declined, they'd be failures as heroes.
"We'll do it. I will, at least." Hotaru stood up. The rest of the team were surprised. Not too long ago, she was the one calling this a trap. But, for once, she seemed serious. Manami stood up. "If Hotaru-chan is doing it I will too!" Satomi stood up, " Well, if I leave you two alone, the world will be crazy". Pretti turned into Chou, "Let's make it four of us who will help!"

"Wonderful. Welcome to CURE. You'll be assigned rooms and will be added to all the relevant databases and whatnot after. But for now, I want to know...how much do you really know about this war?" She sighed inwardly. This was going to be harder than she had originally expected, wasn't it? Then again, that was life, and though she wasn't a cure, she knew that she could guide the cures that came to her down the path that would save the world.
