"Come in!" Called the Director. She smiled as she surfaced from her desk, with a small box. "We'll worry about the details of the war in a little, but for now, do you have any questions?"

The Zodiac Quintet entered the office and curtsied as Akiko spoke up, "We got your letter, and we came here, however only five of us came because the other three are busy protecting Aurakako."
"Arina and I need to get away from that place," Amaya said, "we need a vacation away from the heartache."
"It's a long story," Arina said as she forced a smile, "we want to save this Earth."
Chisame and Nari agreed with everyone in their team.

"Well girls, as much as I'd like to say this will be easy, it won't. This isn't some regular bad guy who you can blast, and everything will be back to normal. This is war. And sometimes, bad things happen in war" She opened the box, and handed each of the cures in the room a small, black card. "Welcome to CURE, all of you. You now hold the rank of Corporal, along with all of its privileges and responsibilities. Any questions?"

Akiko and her group wave to the Rainbow Team and Smiled.
The Quintet went up to the Rainbow Team and introduced themselves.
"My name is Akiko Denkou."
"My name is Chisame Genshuku."
Nari transformed into her Fairy Form and smiled, "My name is Kaminari."
Kaminari then switched to her human form and smiled, "in this form I'm called Nari."
"My name is Amaya Amaterasu."
"My name is Arina Amaterasu."
The five Zodiac members curtsied toward the Rainbow Team.

BIC: Akiko then came up with a question, "how long has all this craziness been happening to Earth? I thought we were done with fighting evil when we defeated the Eclipse Kingdom and saved Climatopia. Our friends Arina, Amaya, Nari, Umi, and Kaze decided to stay here for a while."

Hotaru smiled at the Quintet, "My name is Hotaru Yuki!"
Satomi sighed at Hotaru, but she wasn't annoyed. "Sorry about how childish our leader can be. My name is Ayaka Satomi."
"My name is Manami Yumiko!"
Chou looked at Nari, "So you're the same!" She turned into her fairy form. "My name is Pretti" She turned back into Chou, "And in this form, I'm Chou Hana!"

All the Rainbow team had a lot of questions on their minds. This was war, so didn't that mean that the chances they'd come back were very slim? Hotaru decided to ask something.

The Director sighed. "The war started just over two months ago. The End had launched a probe over the Pacific ocean, and a surveillance center was instructed to investigate. Three planes were launched, and they found the probe, but two of the three were destroyed. The probe broadcast a message, and left. That message is what started this all. 'We come in a time of great need. We have watched you for ages from the stars, and now we have come to claim this planet as our own. We have no need for any of you. We simply need the resources of your planet.' As it turns out, they're at war with another space-age civilization, and needed some of the materials we're not using here on Earth. Of course, many of the world's leaders didn't exactly like this idea, and 11 hours after the message was first transmitted, the United States launched an attack on the probe, and destroyed it. In response, The End declared war. We've been at war ever since." She stood, and made her way over to a large map on one of the walls. "We've given up almost half of the planet in the war. The world wasn't ready to fight a space-age war. Luckily, we've started to adapt to them, and we have something they weren't prepared for. You."

The Rainbow team looked at Director Shirabe in shock.
"Half the planet was given up because of them" Satomi said quietly.
"That's unforgivable." Chou looked down. Manami had tears in her eyes.
"Isn't that just a reason for us to fight harder? We can't lose to them!" The three were inspired by Hotaru's speech. Manami nodded.

The rest of the Zodiac Team nodded in agreement with their leader as Nari turned to Fairy Cure on the other team, "I'm not the only Fairy Cure on my team, Umi is also a Fairy Cure. "Oh yeah, we forgot to say! We're Precure Rainbow!" Hotaru said, and the four pulled the poses they'd normally pull when they introduce the team.
Chou looked at Nari. "I never knew so many fairies could transform! It's good to know that I'm not alone!"

She'll probably be down in the training rooms. You'll find them in the underground portion of the complex. Third floor. She'll be the one you'll go to for assignments and day to day issues. The Zodiac Team nodded in acknowledgement of the orders of Director Shirabe and headed off motioning the Rainbow team to follow them.
"Let's go everyone!" Akiko exclaimed then turned to the Rainbow Team, "by the way who is the leader of your team? I'm the leader of the Zodiac Team, Chisame is second, Nari is our partner Fairy."
Akiko and Chisame hugged Nari as Chisame spoke up, "She's kind of like a little sister to us, even though in her human form she's the same age as us."
Arina and Amaya smiled as they greeted the Rainbow team, as Amaya spoke up and pointed to both of them, "Arina and I are Princesses from Climatopia."

Rainbow nodded too, and followed the Zodiac team.
"I'm the leader of the Rainbow team! Chosen by Satomi and Manami! Satomi's our second, then it's Manami, then Chou would be last, since she rarely ever transforms." Hotaru smiled.
"But even though she's last Chou, as Pretti, is my fairy partner. So she's important too." Satomi said.
"We're all equal really, even though Hotaru is our leader." Manami whispered.

"Kaminari is the Fairy partner for both Chisame and me," Akiko said, then continued, Umi is the Fairy partner for Kasumi and Sayomi, and Kaze is the Fairy partner for both Arina and Amaya."
"However," Arina said to the Rainbow Team, "Kaze isn't a cure, but he does have a human form. If he was a girl, maybe he would've been given one. Although I heard that in Juban there is a super hero team that becomes girls when they transform."
"I've heard that too," Amaya said, "obviously, as far as we know, there isn't a cure team that has a male transform into a Cure. That would be weird seeing a guy transform into a girl and then into a Precure."
