(Please note that this thread often features imaginary news reports and reviews. These albums are sadly not available. XD Also songs listed here as written by the precure in their world, were written by different people in THIS world. No copyright infringement is intended - please don't sue Cure Yuri! ;. Finally... I'd like to get some of my fellow fans to post some stuff here later on... if you're interested in doing a short written piece for this...let me know. )

Makopi returns as Cure Sword to Record Movie Song Takamichi Nanase January 28th, 201X Tokyo Herald
Kenzaki Makoto is coming back with a new song and sources say, she's not coming alone.
Not much has been heard from Makoto since her tour last summer, however, Ms D.B., Kenzaki's manager announced earlier today that the singer was indeed returning with a new album and a new tour, however, she was also working on a new song for an upcoming new installment of the Magical Kara film series.
Rumours, however, have begun to abound that she isn't recording this song alone, and that she has in fact penned and recorded this song with some special guests. Who these people are is still far from known, but speculation abounds from other pop idols from places like Namugo Pro to her old Pretty Cure friends. Ms D.B. declined to comment on the legitimacy on these rumours, saying the truth will come out in time
So... the wait is on to see - what special song does Makopi have planned for the movie - and who (if any) will be joining her at the mic.

Makopi Sings About Cures With - CURES! Ginzo Taeko March 12th, 201X Nippon ExpressThe news is out - all over town, as they say! Makopi's closely guarded song for the movie "Magical Kara - Friendship in Peril" has been released, and boy is it a doozy.
For starters, you've got an all star cast on the microphone. Fans have been speculating for months as to who could be starring on the song ever since rumours began she had special guests writing and singing on the song. One theory was other famous singers while another was her ex Cure team mates - Cure Heart, Cure Diamond, Cure Rosetta and Cure Ace. It would have been fitting, seeing as the movie focuses on the Magical Kara team on trying to restore friendships. The truth was a bit of both, and yet - neither. The names will have your head reeling - famous actress and idolsinger, Kasugano Urara, daughter of the classical musicians extraordinary Hojo Dan and Maria, and a brilliant pianist in her own right, Hojo Hibiki, and finally the wildly eccentric and sexy model, Amanogawa Kirara.
One might question how these four young proteges from different areas of the entertainment industry came to appear on one album, but for many it seems pretty obvious. Makopi and Kirara were both outed near the end of their fighting periods as Pretty Cures. While Urara and Hibiki were not, both of their hometowns had long serving Pretty Cures there - active while they were also in town going to school.
Not convinced?
Perhaps the song might convince you.
Starting off with the telling lyrics, "Trashing Baddies weren't easy like the shows claim we had..." the four girls continue to explain, "There weren't no bishounens.." or "super computers in the back." The song continues to talk about negative experiences that a magical girl team could have, with an intimacy only a magical girl surely would have. When Urara sings about a flood and 'When we came home to our folks sleepin', we knew that's what counts' or Hibiki describes the death of a team mate, you get the sense, they've lived this stuff before.
In the final verse, Amanogawa gives a message to parents, saying magical girls are 'not tardy by choice. They never meant to tell you lies. Or put that yawn in their voice.', ending it with a wish that 'they'd been born 1,000 years ago.' something that harkens back to the story of the Sailor Senshi.
Whether Urara and Hibiki are precures or not may or may not come out in time, but this song will stand for quite a while as the definitive cut from the soundtrack album, with many magical girls sitting down listening to and crying softly on their own with memories that aren't always pleasant - which after all, is the point of the "Magical Kara - Friendship in Peril" movie.

Subject: Makopi's Movie Song.
Hey everyone, got a copy of the soundtrack for 'Magical Kara - Friendship in Peril' today, and tore it open to check out the credits and of course listen to the song by Makopi! I'm so stoked by this new song - though it sounds more country than the Pop sound we're used to from our favorite idol!
To answer question, the songwriting credits are written as Kenzaki/Hojo,/Kasugano/Amanogawa, so I guess they wrote it all together. The whole song is great, and I've transcribed the lyrics down below.
I am betting 1000 yen that Hojo and Kasugano are Precures too, what do you all think?
I put Makopi's part in purple, Urara's in yellow, Hibiki's in pink, and Kirara's in orange. The parts they sing together are black.
The Majoko Song =========== Kenzaki/Hojo,/Kasugano/Amanogawa
Trashing Baddies wasn't quite the fun that the TV shows claim we had... There weren't no bishounen boys or super computers in the back.
You fought hot and tired and nasty til you could barely stand no more. and there were all the nights you didn't sleep because you were too damn sore.
Softly singing... 'Magical Sally' and 'Tokyo Rose'.
Like the night they crashed the dam in and the rains began to fall And the water was risin' so damn fast We thought it'd drown us all
Our foes got away that day our uniforms were tattered But when we saw our families sleepin' soundly, we knew that's what mattered
Softly singing... 'Sakura Sakura' and 'The Future'.
Or the night they snuck behind us And they took us by surprise I screamed out to Fujiko, I saw the terror in her eyes And she fought with all her strength that night Hell knows she did her best But she crossed over Enma's path draggin' onis to their death
And we sang "The lonely road home" and "The Silent Shrine"
So Papa, when you see your girl next she's not tardy by her choice. She never meant to tell those lies or put that yawn into her voice. She's just been fightin' for those she truly loves And for what's burnin' in her soul Wishin' to God that she'd been born a thousand years ago
Still singin' 'Magical Sally' and 'Tokyo Rose'.
(( Out of story note: This song is based upon 'The Cowboy song' performed by Garth Brooks on one of his albums. If you need help finding the tune, let me know....))

Hi. Shirabe Ako here. I admit I'm not as active as some on this forum..I came late to the Makoto fan base. And here, like in school, I tend to be quiet and keep my ideas to myself. However, there comes a time in class, when some loud mouthed idiot says something that just screams "I'm a mouthy punk! Smack me or I'll keep talking!" And it's generally that time I end up slapping them right upside the head. So KTatamikichi... if that's indeed your name... you have been served. I am pleased to know that you are so well versed in the world of Pretty Cure's lives that you can comment so eloquently on their reasons for writing and publishing a song, not to mention throwing facts around like you're God's gift to forum posters! Let us run down your 'amusing' list of accusations, shall we? This looks like a bunch of ex-soldiers trying to cash in on their fading glory.
Cashing in ....as in how? Ex soldiers? I suppose, though I don't remember them referring to themselves as that. First time I heard that expression used. Glory? Two of them aren't even KNOWN for their Cure identities, it's rumors only. If they wanted glory, first they'd have to come out with it. And I don't hear any of them talking about it much either. And um... they did one song out of a collection of tunes for a movie soundtrack. How much do you think - broken down into 4 people - after all the cuts from the various producers and such, that they got from the project? I can assure you, no where near as much as their current careers net them. So...this whole first line is crap. Well..I'm sure your remaining words will be much better! > Really, does anyone care if they had boyfriends or not?
And here I had such high hopes. Oh well. I imagine they care...as would their boyfriends. Are you a boyfriend, K? Probably not with your mouth. And they didn't say boyfriends... they were talking about being surrounded by hot guys all the time... which is a movie thing only. Another opinion...shot down. > And I don't remember hearing about any of the related Cure teams losing a member.
Thank goodness we have you here as a curator of Cure Team history. How many penalties did Cure Hockeypuck get on her last shot on net? Let's start with that this was meant to be a general story about Cures. At no point did each singer specify 'I wrote this part' and 'this is from my team's history'. Show me your quotes on that. Can't? Pity... I guess KTatamikichi's vault of facts isn't as airtight as we thought. Next, as this is a general story, and could be about any precures...have precure's been defeated? Yes. There are tales of that. And those girls DIED so that you could sit in peace at your computer and spew your noxious nonsense. > In the end, just another bunch of spoiled brats who can't handle losing the glory days
> of being a pseudo-magical girl. Kara would be embarrassed!
Spoiled brats? You don't even KNOW them, and you can call them spoiled? GIRLS WHO GOT BEAT UP FOR AN ENTIRE YEAR OR MORE SO YOU CAN SIT THERE IN PEACE ARE SPOILED?!!
And who gave you the criteria for deciding what criteria makes a magical girl a magical girl? Watching all the Kara Movies? Don't make me laugh..and don't bother to try to explain HOW you came up with the criteria. Do you know magical girls personally? No? Then shut up. Your last post - Kara would be embarrassed. Finally, one thing we can agree on! Yes she would be. Embarrassed to have a fan like you..spewing nonsense on forums. Again... you'll have a witty reparte' to add to this...but I DO know Hibiki-san....and I DID meet the Suite Precures a couple of times. And so...I would think, I at least have some more 'movement' to pass judgement on them. Which, by the way, I haven't. Only on you. Consider yourself slapped.

Hi, Shirabe Fleura here,
I noticed the post that my sister did earlier, and I have a bit more to add to it. How would you know so much about Makopi? You are just a troll and a hater. I've actually been following Makopi stories for a while now. I'm not normally one to go off the handle, but I've met several of the Cure Teams and enjoy the music of this song among several other songs sang by the cures. They're voices are wonderful, well most of them anyway.
If you're truly a real fan, you would understand what Cures go through. This song is a perfect example of it!
Unless you really know what the Cures go through, I would just shut your mouth and not say anything at all about this beautiful song!
Stop your trolling and hate! I'm sick of reading messages from so-called Pseudo Fans like you!
I see the slap from Ako and slap you as well! Good luck finding anyone to talk to you with red marks on your face!

Our song seems to be doing well, good to hear. Nice to know people like my singing. ^_^v Listen, I had a few late nights over the last two weeks..and I guess I've been encountering a bit of homesickness which has brought my muse out of hiding. I'd really to record these songs (I've attached them here) and I've worked out some simple tunes for them and would really like to sit down somewhere and record them with the three of ya, as I reckon the four of us could make 'em sound really good. I'm around for the first two weeks of June so if any of that is good for you three, let me know. your shining starlet... Kirara-chan. p.s.
